Intense Living Series

These paintings are finished except for a final gloss clear coat. I will post pics of the final framed versions once they are complete. For now, here is the series with all of the color finished.

New Series

Here's a new series. I'm exploring painting techniques like live, on canvas, color mixing and dripping. I want to juxtapose these with hard, plastic geometric elements that are more familiar to me. I'm also working with disparate but connected color palettes for the two distinct segments of each painting. I'm very pleased with the progress so far. Here's some quick pics from my camera phone.

Show at Alcove!

The new series is up at Alcove and will be up all of February! The opening is Thursday the 11th at 7:00pm.

CMC Show for Art Walk! 1/29/10

My new series shows tonight at the CMC in Gainesville for Art Walk January. The show is hung and looks great. I'll post pictures from the event soon!
